Restore purchases

If you already pay for Invoice Box and the app shows the subscription screen (for example after reinstalling or on a new phone):

  1. Make sure you are signed in to the store with the same account you used to subscribe (the same Apple ID on iPhone, or the same Google account on Android).
  2. On the subscription screen, tap Restore purchases.
  3. If the app says no active subscription was found, check in your store account that the subscription is still active (see below), wait a minute and try again, or contact us.

Restoring brings back your subscription. It does not by itself bring back data from a previous installation (see the FAQ below).

Cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not inside the app. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge; you keep access until the period ends.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap your name (Apple ID) at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Invoice Box, then Cancel Subscription.

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right).
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Invoice Box, then Cancel subscription.

For refunds, contact Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play: they handle all payments.

Delete your data and account

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my data”. Write from the email saved in your business profile if you set one, and include your business name as shown in the app; we may ask for a screenshot of the app to confirm the account is yours.

What happens next:

Deleting an invoice, customer or other item inside the app hides it from the app but keeps it in our database marked as deleted, so invoice records are not lost by mistake. A full erasure request removes these too. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. The app creates an anonymous account for your phone the first time it opens. You don’t enter an email or password.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The app needs an internet connection the first time it opens. After that you can create and edit invoices, quotes, customers, items and payments, make PDFs, and see reports without a connection. Changes are saved on your phone and sync automatically when you are back online. Uploading a logo needs a connection.

Where is my data stored?

On your phone (so it works offline) and on our servers (so it is backed up). Your logo is kept in private cloud storage (Cloudflare R2). PDFs are created on your phone. When you email or share a document, it goes through your phone’s mail app or share sheet; we don’t send emails for you. More in the Privacy Policy.

What happens if I uninstall the app or change phones?

Your account is tied to your phone and there is no sign-in yet. After uninstalling or moving to a new phone, the app may start with a new, empty account (on Android always, on iPhone sometimes). Your old data is still on our servers; contact us and we will try to help. Keep PDFs of the invoices you need.

Is my data used for ads or sold?

No. There are no ads, we don’t sell data, and we don’t track you across other apps. We use anonymous usage statistics that never include names, emails, amounts or customer details.

Is a PDF from the app a legal tax invoice?

That depends on your country. The app does not send invoices to any tax authority. In countries that require official electronic invoices (for example CFDI in Mexico), you must issue those through the official system. Ask your accountant if you are unsure.
